May 9, 2009 Bottle. Thanks thewolf. Pours hazy straw yellow with a small white head. Aromas of ginger, coriander, brett and wheat. The flavour is spicy and sweet with notes of apples, brett, oranges and ginger.

May 8, 2009 Pours a hazy amber with not a whole lot of head. The ginger aroma is very evident right off the bat; reminds me of dark ’n stormies. The problem with me (maybe just me) is that I drink a fair share of dark ’n stormies & I don’t really think that the combination of heavy ginger with the taste of a traditional Belgian strong ale goes very well. It does even out after a few sips, but it’s just not for me. Finishes clean, & very well done, & an interesting beer, nonetheless.

May 6, 2009 2008 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured yellow with a white head. aroma of bologna, cinnamon toast, and spice. flavor was pretty much just cinnamon toast crunch for me. light body and high carbonation.

May 4, 2009 (750ml bottle, 2008 vintage) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of eucalyptus, tea, grass, and florals. Flavor of bay leaves, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and wheat.

Apr 24, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is spicy, wheaty, medium sweet. Pretty light golden body, thick white head. Flavorful wheat blend, spicy without the notorious Allagash tendency toward over-sweetness. This is my favorite of Allagash’s offerings so far.
