Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 11, 2007 Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet spicy - especially coriander, and wheaty. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and spices again coriander being most dominant. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 20, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Rastacouere. Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Subdued aromas of fruit and yeast. Medium body with a very high carbonation, yeast and fruit and then nothing much more. Not pleasant. 090507 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 12, 2006 Hazy dark straw colour. Biscuity, toasty, grapey aroma. Dry, slightly fruity, slightly yeasty. Finish is sort of hot. As with my other grape beer experience, Peconic County, it’s pretty interesting but perhaps the elements don’t come together enough to really excite me. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 18, 2007 CBF07 sample from 75 cL bottle. Pours orange to light brown. Aroma is sweet malt and vague notes of hops.
