Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Great Maine beer with all of the lovely crispness of a true wheat beer. Allagash achieves a superb pale and cloudy appearance with a nice citrus flavor.

An old favorite of mine. Pours a very pale straw yellow color with lots of crap floating around. Thin layer of white bubbles on top. Very intense aroma dominated by yeast. Lots of citrus, orange peel, and coriander. Grainy malt flavor with strong yeast flavor on top. Spicy and citrusy. Very crisp, refreshing and easy to drink.

This is an excellent white beer. Smells of citrus and spice which is expected. Cloudy golden yellow with a hint of orange. Best served cold and goes down nice nad easy on a hot summer day.

Aroma of banana, citrus and spices. cloudy, gold-yellow color with foamy white head and good lacing. Flavor is light and refreshing, little bit of citrus bite in the finish. Very solid beer.

Incredibly refreshing. I love a good, unfiltered Belgian White, and this is one of them. A beautiful, cloudy pour, it sports a thick, white head. The aroma is there, but you practically have to get your nose in the head to smell it. Fruit notes are obvious. Spices come through on the finish. A beer you can drink all night, one after the other.

Solid witbier. Lots of yeast aroma to this one with a flavor that follows suit. Hints of spice shine through on the finish. Pretty refreshing as well.

Draft at Hulmeville Inn. Nice cloudy pour with dense white head typical of the style. Flavor was a balance of a lot of yeast with a modest malt profile. Some hints of coriander at the very end. Aroma was subtle spice and Belgian yeast.

Location: Had this one a few times, originally rated after drinking at the Yard House in Lakewood, CO. July ’08

Overall Impression: Pretty decent beer for this style, it’s pretty well made, lots of citrus to it.
