Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Clouded lemon pour. Weak smell. Tastes of citrus wheat with a dry lemonhead finish. All in all very refreshing.

Enjoyed via bottle. Initial appearance is slightly cloudy, with a full white head of foam. Aroma is one of spices, coriander, and citrus. Folds lightly over the palate, with a spritzy, dry finish. An excellent example of the style from an excellent brewery.

12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small head. Smells of sweet fruit and sugar, almost like Trix cereal. Tastes about the same as the smell. Nice wheat flavor, plenty of fruit sweetness, almost artificiallly sweet. Some spices are lightly present. Fruit flavors are of white grape, apple, pear, and apricot.

Imperial pint draft poured on tap at the FFF brewpub (.Munster, IN). Pours a hazy dull straw with big billowy white head, well hazed, with a nice lacing. Aromas are typical witbier, nice wheaty aroma with estery orange peel and light coriander. This is really shaping up to be THE witbier. Initial is light on the palate, but medium bodied, nice wheaty body with light spice, orange peel, and coriander. Finishes light, flavored, but refreshing. Light, not the best wit, but pretty good. Finishes smooth with lingering flavors.
