Pours a cloudly yellow with slight white head. Tastes of your typical Belgian witbier with a nice blend of spices in the finish. Good, refreshing beer but make sure you drink it while it’s still cold. Snojerk321 (2024), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2008 750ml bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. The pour reveals a slightly cloudy yellow color with a medium, creamy, white head. The aroma has a solid presence of wheat with some lemon and mild spices. The flavor is solid, the lemon is more up front than in the aroma, there’s still a good wheat presence with some yeast and spices. The body is full with a creamy texture and mellow carbonation. A very fine wit bier. nearbeer (1882), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 16, 2008 750 ml, labeled Batch #44. Pale, hazy gold with a large head that settles into a lasting ring and leaves meringue all over the glass. Light aroma of yeast, peppery citrus, and slight bubble gum. Same stuff is more pronounced in the taste. Almost seems like cinnamon in the way aftertaste. Light body is soft, dry, tingly and astringent. One of the best Wits out there. acearl (218), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2008 12oz Bottle. Crisp yeast and bread dough aroma, spritzed with orange oil and light spice. Pours an opaque pale sunshine yellow. Little head. Nice prickly carbonation. Flavor is a very soft, smooth quaffable cool wheat water. Winter wheat oils, lively yeast and accenting spice notes. Even on the palate. A light, older hop floral figure in the back. Heavily drinkable and paired nicely with smoked salmon bruschetta. A good rendition. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Hazy onion skin yellow with minimal head. Banana and spice are prominent in the aroma. Clove and coriander seem to be the dominant spice. A fairly “thick” smelling brew. Spicy, yeasty flavor with hints of sweetness are what you will get on tasting this one. Sweetness provided via banana and clove. Fairly wet mouth feel and crisp body. Not a huge fan but this is drinkable. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Pours (from a bottle) a nice golden color with a full white head, leaving a film behind on the rim of the glass. Very refreshing light bodied beer with a bit of spice. Not very complex but still works. Overall a decent beer. timfoolery (484), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2008 On tap at Beer and Wine Boutique in Placerville. I’m not a huge fan of Witbiers, but this one was an improvement compared to ones I’ve had. Very limited carbination, although it has sizable head. The flavor was odd, and I couldn’t place it, largely because I had about 2 oz. to taste. It was ok.
