Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Mmmmmmmm......tasty. This beer has a very light finish and a great fruity body. I like it best in the huge bottle!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, light yellow. Fluffy, medium sized white head sticks to the side of the glass. Slight aroma of bananas and clove. Body is a bit lemony with pepper thrown in for good measure. Finish is very dry.

After a string of overly banana-and-coriander flavored Wits and Hefes, this was refreshing. Crisp, with some fruit flavor, but not overwhelming.

From Great Lost Bear in Portland, Maine. Served with a lemon (not appropriate in our opinion). Poured a cloudy straw golden color with tints of slight copper. big bustling white head. Nose of Belgian yeast but not as clove or banana-esque as many whites. Light sweet and tart mouth feel. Soapy and thin. Not as spicy as one might hope for in a white or witbier.

Pours hazy yellow with great notes of spice (clove) and citrus. The palate drives the spice in a bigger way with a nice crisp finish.

Sampled @ GDBTF. Pours deep golden amber, slight white head. On the spicier side, with discernible coriander, peppery on the nose, tart lemony palate, very smooth for the style, goes down nicely. Look forward to trying more of their beers.

Virtually no aroma off this (on tap at C&O). mild lemon and yeast flavor, with virtually no banana (a big plus)

Pours a hazy sunny yellow with very little head that dissapates quickly. Aroma of spice, wheat and citrus. On the palate there are hints of orange and corriander weaved in with the wheat mash. Rounder.
