| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 19, 2007 Poured a pale hazy yellow. The head is medium, white, creamy, laces well. The aroma is spicy, yeasty, definitely some sweet orange peel, coriander, and slightly sour. The flavor is very sharp and warm, more spicy than the aroma, shows the coriander, and has some sourness. The palate was full and well carbonated. The finish left a spicy tingle at the back of my mouth. I’d put this up there with St. Bernardus as far as my favorite wits go. tjp68 (31), Washington, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 18, 2007 Cloudy yellow pour. Tastes of Citrus and wheat toast. Dryer than I expected. Good solid wit. I prefer Hoegaarden, but this is better than Blue Moon or other domestic attempts. EithCubes (2146), Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2007 Bottle. Strange yeasty aroma - the spice here reminds me of the spice used to, say, spice a chicken rather than a beer. Additional, more common notes include coriander, lemon, pepper, and medium-strong vanilla and honey. Hazy yellow with a short light head. Robust. Spiced taste, medium body and very smooth, dry and yeasty aftertaste with a touch of wheat. More enjoyable than the score implies - a very good summer session, and to its credit, not at all normal. obguthr (1028), Poquoson, Virginia, USA

Strange bitter taste at first, turning to grapefuit. Peaches on the finish, but gets a little grainy at the end. bhensonb (4273), Woodland, California, USA
