The color was a nice copper, but the carbonation seemed down. I expected more vigor. It did leave nice lace though. The nose was what you’d expect, a fair blast of hops. The palate was nice, bitter hops, but it really missed a strong malt structure to support it. Enjoyable but forgettable. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Appearance was a nice amber, with a tall and sturdy head. Aroma was distinctly hoppy, lightly citrus-y, and pretty bitter. Flavor was out of balance; I found it to be overly malty, not very hoppy (particular not so when compared to the beer’s aroma). Also, there were some weird off flavors, to include sourness and metal. Mouthfeel was OK.
Not bad, but hardly worth seeking out. I had this on draft at the Allen Street Hardware Store. swoopjones (1923), Buffalo, New York, USA

Nice hop flavor & well balanced with caramel malt presence. Not a hop bomb what so ever but a nice easy drinking ipa
