Good roastiness, pleasant pitch black appearance, with a slighlty tan head. Nothing spectacular, but a good all round beer. gary07734 (408), Tyne & Wear, England

Some roastyness in the finish, but its very subtle. Pretty below average i thought. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England

Roasty coffee flavour with a slightly bitter finish. OK, but not great. It’s a stout... is a stout... is a stout. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

Coffee, some smokiness, but not overwhelming. Sourish finish. imdownthepub (5185), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Poured flat and still, difficult to get a head on it, licorice aroma. Thin, watery beer in the bottle, it doesn’t shout stout at you at all. Plenty of smoky, burnt notes, a bit bon-firey in character, but much too thin to get much else. Disappointing. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Small tan head. Black with some alcohol present. Crisp and smooth on the palate. Bitter roast finish.
