Deep copper ... sweet fruity nose ... loads of light fruity toffee malts very nice juicy and rounded. Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 25, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very malty, while the flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and a light roasted note. Svesse (1621), Hässelby, Sweden Sep 8, 2007 (Cask at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Dark brown colour, almost mahogany, with brief head. Malty nose with dark fruit and blackcurrant. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit and blackcurrant. Slightly vinous, lactic notes. Lots of chocolate in the finish.
