Dumps out a light bright amber brew and was producing no head at all until I poured the remainder of the bottle in from about a foot above the glass. One pathetic string of bubbles arose. Aroma was of weak sweet malts, some wheat and some stink when warmer. Overall mild and boring. Taste seemed a bit sharp with less than average hops. Slight malts. Needs more of everything. Light bodied with an ok swish and some smoothness. Not great or enjoyable but not horrible. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Beer pours a hazy beige gold with zilch for head only a small bubble ring appears around the edge of me glass. What the hell there are big bubbles trying to break free of the surface but can’t, it’s like the beers surface is this impenetrable plastic that won’t allow carbonation to escape with out a fight WEIRD!!! Strange combo of chemical and banana in the sent and why am I smelling banana here? Very sweet smelling, fakley sweet in fact, this brew smells ungood. Ya that’s right I said ungood. Yuck nasty taste egg yolk, bread and chemicals all come through and its making my face curl and wince with ever sip. Slight banana in the finish, why is that flavor here? Beer feels soft and thin and flat nasty beer. Why is beer allowed to exists WHY? Good job Ally Kat EHGsean (28), Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 15, 2009 Its hard to jump up and down in delight about a pale/standard American style Lager. However, as examples of the style go, this really isnt that bad. Malt presence if there, even if the hops are so subdued they are almost indistinguishable. Cant blame Alley Kat for producing a beer for mass marketing. There are a lot of drinkers of this style out there. pintbypint (1026), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 24, 2008 341ml brown bottle. Gold/yellow toned beer. Poured with a very thick white head. Light traces of malt in the aroma, some faint caramel as well. Flavour is blandish malt, grains and light caramel, virtually no hop profile. Average carbonation, light body. Fairly basic pale lager with no bells and whistles. If you want to drink locally, and your thing is pale lager, I guess give this one a try. GRM (1283), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 25, 2006 Lightly hazed yellow with a little head. The nose is socks and a bit of fruit, grass and detergent. Tart and lightly bitter, organic notes with not much else happening. Obviously past it’s prime, but I’m sure there wasn’t much there to start with.
