Beautiful orange copper colour, light tan head. Distinct aroma and flavour, spicy and warm. Very good. I take deep smell between each sip.

Beautiful bright orange amber, compact white head. Initially bready toffee aroma stands out, but as it breathes more soft fruit becomes apparent (cooked peaches, pears) as well as a little sweet spice. Delicious sweet toffee malt with a light fruity element that lends almost a tart quality to the finish that reminds me of a California common style. This is absolutely delicious-- abundant in flavour, and that interesting fruty tartness or acidity that lightens everything and makes this very drinkable. A great springtime beer to be sure!

Pours a dark caramel colour with a thin white head. A sweet bready malt aroma. Flavour is excellent but as presario suggests, don’t drink it too cold. It seems to comes alive at about 8°C (if my fridge thermometer is to be trusted). An excellent beer for springtime evening drinking or to accompany something like a good roast chicken.
