Straight into a lemonade flavour initially ok but then an astringent ginger note and it really is heavy drinking, a struggle. Sweet and grainy, not a good combination of flavours. Looks gorgeous - light gold with thin, lasting white head. That’s the positives done. Awful flavour. I just can’t describe it. Something herbal and unpleasant. I left it half way down as I just couldn’t stand it any more. Too thin and no discernible aroma, either. wyzzywyz22 (795), Wirral, Merseyside, England

Golden yellow, fruity, christmas cake aroma. Flavour is too overpoweringly ginger for my taste, but if ginger is your thing, then this has obvious appeal. Ungstrup (15371), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 23, 2007 An original ale that looks a bit greenish around the edges of its clear golden hue. 1cm white topping. Nutty and fairly toasty considering its pale colour. Mysteriously flowery with almost no bitterness. Those aromas are quickly overtaken by sweet, direct, very grainy flavours that could use some balancing counterpower. anders37 (4763), Malmö, Sweden
