Aroma is very much like an Apple wine. diminishing white head that is unimpressive. Very thin light body. Taste is watery, with wheat, apple, malt, and apricot notes.

The beer after its dispensing from the 500ml brown bottle set s in the glass a hazy lemon yellow with a portly creamy white head as it erodes the lace forms a fine sheet to obscure the glass. Nose is all malt, sweet and crisp, clean and pleasing to the senses, start is pleasantly malted and somewhat sweet with a light top. Finish has a modest acidity with the hops light in their spicy bite, ah the refreshing qualities of a fine Pilsner.

Dammit, Derek beat me to a beer yet again... My first of this style, I think. Pours a nice straw color with a nice head and a rather vigorous carbonation feeding the nice lacing. Aroma is lame; smells like a typical lager with a tiny hint of corn/cardboard. Taste follows the aroma closely. I was hoping for much more. Palate is quite full and thick. This is the best part of this beer. Overall it’s pretty good and worth giving a try. The bottle states "malt liquor" which is misleading, but I’m sure it’s so that it can get into as many markets as possible. It’s a good beer; give it a try.

Pours perfect straw golden with a nice white head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is slightly wheaty and has a good light maltiness to it with a slight floral hop backing. Taste is very clean and well rounded. Light malty start with a nice hop bitterness toward the end which brings a nice balance to this beer. Very smooth and drinkable. Nice subtle brew that is a great summer day brew.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is light yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (bread), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.

Had this at The Bier Garden in Portsmouth, VA on 7-25-04. Comes out a hazed gold with a tall, foamy white head. Aroma is wheaty and bready with splashes of sweetened malt coming through. Taste was surprisingly better than expected. It’s doughy malt some yeast and wheat. Very bready. Like drinking liquid bread. Lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Very "light" beer overall. Refreshing!
