Commercial Description:
Created for the yearly Jazz festival in Brauhaus's hometown of Kempten. A special malt is made for this brew and the aromatic hops gives this beer its balanced composition. A cool Lager for a hot day. Pure enjoyment.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow, light density of small particles. Aroma is moderately malty (light bread, grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Good flavor balance, a pleasant aroma, and very clean: another simple-but-effective entry in Allgauer’s list of offerings.

Bottle best by 2003. Pours hazy, murky dark gold with minute fizzy bubbly white head. Yeast (dough, sweat) malt (meal, cookie) and citrus hop (lemon) aromas with grapes and pear notes. Watery sweaty yeast with pear flavor, malty and fizzy fruity finish that goes slightly dry. Medium bodied and thin, watery fizzy palate.

Bottle best by 2003 poured a hazy yellow with a small, quickly dissapateing white head. Aromas ofbread, honey and a hint of lemon. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, yeast, honey and a hint of lemon with a crisp, mildly bitter finish.

Maybe a smidge maltier and more flavorful than Allgauer’s Bayrisch Hell, but not much. A beer brewed for a Jazz festival needn’t be complex to succeed. The music lends plenty of complexity.

Cloudy and deep yellow with a thin, fading head. Decent nose, with notes of apples and lemons. Soft and chewy mouthfeel with a nice carbonation level. Malts were a little doughy, with a pinch of yeast mixed in. Mild lemon flavors. Hops were mild (herbs, grass) and only lightly bitter, but they dried out the mouth quite a bit. Drinkable, but not really exciting.

Ick! Holy @#$&@, this beer is bad. If I had the choice between drinking this beer again and getting genital herpes, I would opt for genital herpes. Man, this is Germany’s answer to Budweiser, only I would rather drink Bud.

Aroma is a sweet malt scent. Color is a hazy gold with low carbonation and almost no head. Taste is flat and sweet. Starting with a thin body it goes down with a flat feel. Finish comes in with a sweet German malt taste then fads out bland. This is a flat, bland, disappointment of a brew. I don’t think I will ever try another one of there beers.

Quite possibly the worst beer I’ve ever had. It is dry, flavorless and smells like strange carcinogenic polymers. I won’t be trying this again. Definetly down the drain.
