| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 13, 2005 Bottle pours a very slightly hazy pale golden, medium white frothy head, soft carbonation, with fairly nice lacing. Very slight pale malt nose. Pale malt flavor, slightly grassy/grainy but its very subtle. Body and mouthfeel are fairly average, medium. Finishes fairly clean, lingering grassy notes. By my standards its not too bad, albeit not that interesting.

Malts are slightly sweet. Hops are spicy. A fairly typical lager, Nuff said? A very cool cobalt blue bottle, shows no signs of skunking. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 10, 2002 I’ve come to expect some pretty good things from the folks at Allgauer, and this lager is good, but represents little that is different from the traditional american standard/lager vein of brewing. The blue bottle makes it look like Ty Nant bottled water. This lager is crisp and fairly drinkable. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2002 Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is
hazy medium yellow, moderate density of tiny particles. Aroma is lightly
malty (light bread), lightly hoppy
(herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Finish is
moderately bitter, lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively
carbonation, lightly astringent. Very light aroma, but a terrific flavor
balance and nice appearance for the style. bonvivant (164), Smithfield, Virginia, USA
