| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2004 Yellow-orange and naturally hazy with a huge rocky head. Almost a yeasty aroma. The flavor is zesty and fruity, with a yeasty undertone. If I was blind tasting, I’d swear this was a weizen. igel (196), New Mexico, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 2, 2004 Golden/amber color, hazy, low carbonation; a small head that dies quickly and does not carry much lace. Aroma is of yeast, hops and fruit. The taste is slightly sweet with a distinct bite. It is smooth in the mouth with little fizz. I think this rather more like a “hefe-lite” or a “pilsner-weizen,” and not really a pils. Cute little dude on the bottle. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Very slight grain aroma - sweeter aroma with a hint of apple. Sour grain flavor with a bitter aftertaste. A distinct tasting beer. Ernest (4511), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2004 Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly hoppy (herbs), lightly malty (bread, grain). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Seems like a sample that’s not quite as fresh as it probably could be (not cardboardy, just dull). Kind of grainy aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2004 Lightly cloudy orange color, small white head that faded fast leaving little behind.Lightly malty aroma with a decent amount of hops and fruit coming through, maybe a little sweet and sour at times.Nice light malt flavor with a good sweet side to go along with the nicely done hops that are not overly done. This one has an almost buttery texture with a fruit side that is hard to describe, maybe a little lemon, slight orange maybe.Over all a very easy to drink brew that i could easily go through alot of,well worth trying if you can find it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 10, 2004 Crackery, flowery, haylike and acrid arome ,- quite intense! Lingering head atop a sightly cloudy and hefty body. Some bitterness and a touch of sour in the flavors, some biscuity sweet - very good. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2003 First off, a great label. This has no bearing on the beer, but worth mentioning. Poured a clear deep golden color with perfect head. Rich malty and subdued hop aroma. Rich, full sweet malty flavor. A great German lager that I enjoyed a lot.
