Had no idea about the style or what to expect but for $1.99 (compared to the prices I usually pay) it was worth a stab. Yellowy golden pour, buble-y carbonation, decent foam. Kind of Kolschish in looks. Mild, sweet, syrupy all malt aroma, sugestions of banana.Mixture of dry crispness and syrupy sweetness on the plate, pretty crisp with a nice bite in the finish. Returns sweet and almost fruity in the aftertaste. Decent refreshing beer for 2 bucks.

Another nice looking beer! Attractive golden blond body, and a large frothy white head. Nose is malted and hopped but leans towards the sweeter side. The taste is a little of a letdown. Lighter malt notes. Even less hops. However, this a certain amount of crispness through the body. The aftertaste is light bitterness but otherwise leans towards blandness. Decent but not as good as their dunkel.

The Seinfeld fan in me couldn't turn down a sample of so-called "Bubble Boy" at the Urbana Beer Festival. Alas, this beer was far less satisfying. Orange in color with an average sized white head. Lacing was very nice. Aroma was of cereal, herbs, and moderate yeast. Lightly sweet with a definite rye flavor, lightly acidic finish that ends up feeling slightly chalky.

This brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow colored body. It had a mild bubbly mouthfeel and a mild floral aroma. The flavor was mildly malted and fruity.

Dayton, OH AleFest:This beer definitely lacks flavor and character. On to my rating...a small sized white head that was mostly diminishing. The body was clear and uncarbonated with a yellow hue.The nose was that of a typical lager and it was also lightly hoppy. The flavor was lightly hopped and it had a smooth and medium bodied mouthfeel to it.

Who is the Buble boy? This is a nice dortmunder/helles style; mostly grassy, minimal hops, tastes better as it warms.

Pours golden with a huge foamy head. Leaves big rings of lace with each sip. After an initial touch of skunk wanes, aroma is bready and grassy with a touch of spicy hops. Mild carbonation lends a soft mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly hop-centric but not quite at pilsner status. Vague notes of cooked vegetables and dust. A good sweet malty backbone helps hold it all together. Easy drinking and refreshing. A good summer thirst quencher but definitely not a powerhouse brew.

great label on this "boooble" beer, it shows some traditionally garbed german kid holding an enormous crockery mug of beer-- he looks like pinochio after becoming a real boy, but gone somewhat astray. the actual beer, meanwhile, danced into my glass with a burst of exuberant alpen-white foam, capping a tortilla yellow pour. fresh classic german lager aroma: baguette and hay bail, hearts of celery. light malty sweetness and a tug of snappy saaz. very basic, refreshing in it's place, quintessentially german. trying biking from garmisch-partenkirchen to schloss linderhoff on a warm summer day and then polishing one of these. it'll seem like magic; otherwise, it's just a quaffer.
