Dec 22, 2008 500ml bottle picked up at Stateline Liquors, MD. Slight haze in the golden-orange color. Minimal head. Malty, macro beer factory aroma. Definitely disappointing flavor-wise as well. Crisp initial mouthfeel quickly transforms into a malty sweet finish. A little yeasty subtlety in there, but not much...old bottle?

Dec 20, 2008 I had this one with Oldrtybastrd. This was good as most Helles are. Slightly hoppy with grain and an ease for drinkability. This is a simple but good beer.

Dec 16, 2008 bottle. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Malty, hoppy, slightly grainy. It strongly reminds me of boooring eurolager as mady by many big German breweries. Inoffensive but without any character.

Oct 26, 2008 Tap. Pours a clear gold with your usual helles head. Nose is heavy floral hops with grain. Flavor is the same, with a nice, smooth malt aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Oct 11, 2008 Clear gold pour with standard lager head. Nose is very light and very floral. Flavor is mostly floral with minimal dry malty finish. Not my favorite.

Oct 3, 2008 It’s a warm golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of flower and malt. The flavour has a light, smooth caramel sweetness, notes of flower, malt and it ends on a dry and slightly bitter note. It’s uncomplicated and charming.

Sep 21, 2008 On tap at Maxs German Beer Fest. Hazy orange in color with a nice fluffy white head. Hoppy, grainy fruity aroma. Spicy hoppyy grassy flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Smooth tasting. Medium bodied. Finish is hoppy. Very drinkable. Nice beer.

Sep 4, 2008 There is something beautiful about a 8 year old german boy with a big old stein of beer on the label. All this rubbish about alcohol is bad for kids, the sooner they learn the more responsible they are with it!
This beer has a dirty sour bitterness to it, almost a mustiness. almost like rolling up and smoking some of a mummy at the british museum. Deep amber colour bordering on piss. Feels like a beer and a cigarette at the same time, but leaves you with one free hand to scratch your balls.
