| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours a dark yellow with a tinge of amber and a thin bubbly head. Aroma is of yeast and highly concentrated urine. Carbonation is apparent as the bubbles continue to stream up for several minutes. The flavor is yeasty with a bread-like maltiness. Easy to drink, like most pale lagers. I expect it is a good beer for an Oktoberfest celebration where mass consumption is ideal but otherwise, this beer is not all that special. pivnizub (5014), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 23, 2007 Bügelverschlußflasche: deep golden coloured, big fluffy white head, slowly collapsing; stronger grainy nose; all in all a very grainy to strawy taste, only a bitter shadow in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but boring...... nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 12, 2007 The aroma is sweet with grainy malt and light grassy hops. The appearance is copper gold with a two finger head that falls to near 0 before it should. The flavor is decent with plenty of bitterness to counter the sweet caramel malt. I just wish it was a friendlier bitterness. The palate is thin. This fits the style pretty good but does not stand out as particularly good. Palidor19 (1773), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2007 When I first Poured there was no carbonation on the beer. Still it gives off a German style of malts and flavor, with a touch of cloves and very mild fruits.. Long grainy taste makes this quite nice in the hot days. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA
