It has a pleasant grain and wheat malt flavor, lightly bready and mildly sweet, and the gently spicy hops adds just a touch of bitterness for nice balance. The nose is lightly malty and is very nice. Nearly medium in body, it has a nice, creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Medium golden color, slightly hazy, with an off-white head that maintains a thin, but intact layer atop the beer. Plenty of lacing, including one wide ring near the top of the glass. No wonder the boy on the label is smiling. Britales (56), Cape Charles, Virginia, USA

Same importer handles 3-4 other German beers all of which I have sampled many times in the past! They were all first rate at that time!
Now there is a serious problem, (at least in Virginia) with totally shot product! This beer should have been pulled by the importer if not by the distributor! I have since heard of several similar instances! Ask retailer how old it is!!!! JPDIPSO (4939), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Pale malt and dry bread aromas with a mild sweet herbal aroma. Smooth and lightly creamy feel. Light malt sweetness with a touch of herbal dryness toward the end. Very drinkable. Not a lawn-mower, rather a front porch type of brew. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Out of the bottle Buble pours a hazy orange/golden color with a medium soft white head. Aroma of sweet grainy malts and lightly spiced hops. Taste starts with a touch of caramelized maltiness, warm and soft mouthfeel, slight straw taste. Finishes with a very gentle bitterness, soft floral hops round out the flavor, finishing with a pear taste in the finish. I’m not sure why this falls in the catch-all pale lager catagory, but i guess i don’t know what it should be. beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
