Rather than the aroma which included not only a malty sweetness and some alcohol nor the other pleasant dopplebock characteristics being a concern, I just want to know what the hell cambonator means ...

Great dark body with a heavy dark head. Good mollasses in the aroma with some sugar. Good ending with sugar and malts.

From bottle. Pours a deep brown with a medium brown head. Nose is pleasantly sweet, brown sugar and caramel notes, with a roasted malt base. NIce lacing. Flavor is more sweetness, caramel primarily. A touch of dark fruit. Only thing in the taste I didn’t like was an overriding toasted grain flavor. Not too bad, though. Body was a bit thin. Finish is just barely bitter - very subtle - and a light creamy sweetness.

Bottle courtesy of wohlfs. Dark mahogany with only tan film for head. Swwet caramel malt up front with lots of roasted grain and a faint fruity character, maybe raisin? Flavor has more roasted grain than anything. Residuel sweetness, but not really a carmel taste per se. Again get alot of raisin/prune towards the finish. Rtaher thin. Nice brew overall, just really takes a hit in appearance and palate.

Pours a nice dark brown colour with a big head that disappears quickly though. It has a little sweet aroma and a little roasted , even some fruity aroma. The flavor is also a little sweet, but not to sweet for me. It also has some roasted flavor with a hint of fruit and caramel. It leaves you with a nice warm feeling.

Bottled. Pours a very deep ruby color. Sweet malty aroma with a hint of alcohol. Strong roasted malty flavor. Some vinous qualities. Slightly roasted finish.
