Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Allgäuer Oktoberfest". Clear deep golden with an off-white head. Malty and a little perfumy hops in the nose. Medium body with a solid malt base, a light fruitiness and a whiff of sulphur. Dry, lightly bitter finish. 120709

50 cL bottle as Allgauer Oktoberfest. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light cornish and golden malty. Mild bitter and subdued grassy flavuored. Bitter and medium dry finish.

Bottled. A pale amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt as well as light notes of caramel - too sweet for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Boring for the style.

Bottle from Keg Liquor. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted grassyaroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Toasty, biscuitty and light ale. Nose of toffee and toast, hints of apples and earth. The mouthfeel is thin and a little slick, notes of caramel, earth, toast, honey, corn. The finish is a little grassy, but like old hops rather than fresh ones. Authentic offering, but could use a flavor boost.

This poured true to form with an amber color and a big head. The aroma is quite sweet and this drinks with an almost apple-juiciness, overtly tarty and fruity. (#3470, 11/2008)

Bottle. Light amber beer with a nice whitish head. Light caramel malt aroma with a bit of hop. Caramel, honey flavor with spice and earth. Medium body. Caramel and spice linger with a bit of honey.

Botle labeled Oktoberfest. Spicy noble hop aroma over light caramel malt. Clear light orange amber with small white head. Somewhat malty flavor with spicy noble hop flavor. Somewhat more of a malty pils.
