Dull, murky yellowish hue, moderate head formation. Malty, cereal grain aroma. Bland grainy palate, touch of winey-ness. Sweet aftertaste. I would have suspected this was a bad bottle except for the other ratings here.

This beer has a nice flavor. It’s a little bit bland, but it fits for the style. The mouthfeel is very good, with a little bit of thickness to it. This beer has a soft enough flavor to drink all night long, but it doesn’t have enough character to be a session brew.

Ahh, to be the first... Heck, I even beat DerekArent to this one; he’s gonna be ticked. Pours an amber color with a little bit of a head that left some lacing. Aroma is faint, but almost completely malt. Right on for the style, actually, only very weak. Flavor is also on the weak side but typical: sweet with a touch of hops. There’s some spices floating around that almost remind me of spiced apple cider. Palate is nice and thick, again right for style. It’s funny how thick it is without being stronger tasting though. Overall, a damn good example and worth seeking out.

Bottle pours translucent yellow, small white foamy head, fairly decent lacing, with virtually no carbonation.   Light aroma of oat cereal and grains.   Flavor is only slightly malty, mainly grains.   Medium body & mouthfeel.   Finish is rather bland, flat, and boring.   Probably the Bud Light of Oktoberfests in Germany.

A pretty boring oktoberfest, nice orange color with a white bubbly head, hoppy/light malt aroma. Flavor was bland with a hoppy bitterness toward the end, but not much taste up front.

Beer pours a nice copper coler with a nice white head. The aroma is the best thing about this beer. I can smell it across the room. Kind of a bread and earthy smell. Flavor is deffinatly hops and malt but both do not stand out on their own. Overall this been is very drinkable and afffordable when you want to try something different.

deeper color than the Aktien i just had (but still very light)...similar aroma as the Saaz jump out immediately. flavor has slightly more caramel malty flavor to it than the Aktien, but is still quite thin.
