Bottled. A hazy pale golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and lighter notes of banana and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and light notes of banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy yellow with a tall, dense and stable off-white head. Aroma of banana and yeast. Medium body, very soft mouthfeel, a little banana and a vague oxidized touch. 120709

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light estery. Banana fruity and light wheaty flavoured. Mild acidic and estery dry finish.

Bottled. Hazy yellow coloured with a white head. Aroma of fruits with yeasty notes. Fruity flavour with notes of spices and yeast and acidic notes.

(50cl bottle) Medium white head atop hazy straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bubblegum, some banana, clove. Taste is medium sweet, banana, lemon. Watery light-medium body, low carbonation, light acidity.

Tap @ Weinstube Rebstock Biberach. Blonde, cloudy. Banana in the aroma. Slightly herbal, yeasty flavor with banana and tangerine. Short citrus aftertaste. Just a plain, pretty standard hefeweizen.

Bottled, 500ml, at The Bayerischer Hof, Kempten, Bayern. Hazed pale gold with white head. Clean cut Hefeweizen, understated on the spicy notes but slightly hoppier than most. A little bitter and a crisp malt. Reasonable without being exciting.

A hazy pale yellow body with lazy carbonation and a tall head that - - that disappears more quickly than I’ve seen on a hefeweizen before! It has a delicate aroma, grassy fresh with a mild lemon twist. The banana shows up for the taste - and it’s an old banana at that. Cloves make a brief hello. Very clean finish with perhaps a drop of lemon to cleanse the tongue. Acceptable.
