An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a light note of wheat, while the flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of caramel, leading to a dry wheaty end.

Bottled. Yellow coloured. Clear. Dense off white head. Light banana and yeast in the aroma. Some spices notable. Flavour is quite sweetish and yeasty. Fruits notable and a light touch of grape. Thin bodied. Dry. Is grapish and spiced in the end.

Slight gusher. Golden color with a huge off white head. Very mild aromas of wheat and light cloves. Pale malts and vanilla dominate the little flavor that resides in this brew. Hints of citrus and white grapes. The american lager of german wheats.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, fully lasting. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with light notes of clove and banana. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Whew, now that’s a flavorless weizen, even for a filtered one.

Pours a cloudy gold with a nice white head. Wheaty/malt aroma with a lot of sweetness to it, but still remained very light. Taste had a weird candy taste to it, sweet malt with honey and a fruity end to it. The flavor was very mellow and kind of bland.

(500 ml bottle: $1.99 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Well, the nose is kinda weird with this one. It’s sweet and grainy on the surface, but something in the background reminds me of, oh, I don’t know, nail polish remover maybe, no that’s not it but whatever it is, it’s bad. As the beer warms, it becomes more dominant and more unpleasant. The flavor is mostly a strong blast of stale cardboard, with some sweetness and a light bitterness. Light to medium bodied, but how this beer feels in the mouth is of no consequence at this point. It’s a dark straw color, but instead of being fully clear, it pours hazy and stays hazy. The white head is of average size on the pour and maintains a thin but complete layer. Not what I’d call a pleasant drinking experience, but clearly, this beer is way past its prime and deserves a re-rate.
