(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, fully golden beer with a rather small head. Full-bodied and aromatic with some underlying sweetness and a rather subdued bitterness. A nice, strong lager. 080402

Clear golden with a medium head. Sweet fruity aroma with malty and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet with caramel, malt and hints of hops. Finished mild bitter.

Quickly dissipating medium off-white head atop a clear golden body. Aroma is medium sweet, cookie dough, apple juice, light ginger. Taste is light-medium sweet, apple, light grassy and bread, finishing apple and light grassy. Light-medium body. Not bad, but there's nothing to it that would make me want to buy it again.

This poured a dark yellow body with lively carbonation and a minimal head that remained to do much lacing. The aroma is caramel and butterscotch with earthy hops lightly blanketing it all. The mouthfeel is soft and oily. The flavor is sweet fresh bread with light spices and some herbal hop bitterness. Very easy to drink.

Odd brownish gold color with a diminished off white head. Herbal infused malt aromas. Light toffee aromas as well. Sweet malt and dough flavors. Mild spicy hops come in late. Not much more to this one.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, bread), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a hint of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Orange gold color. Small to no head. Aroma is grainy and grassy, with a touch of spice. A light to medium bodied Dort/Helles. Malts are fruit and sweet. Slightly spicy hops. Touches of nutmeg and allspice (which I guess it is why they call it a Christmas Beer). Mostly it a totally neutral tasting fluid. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Draft at Zum Schneider. Holds a creamy white head for a few minutes then collapses pretty quick. Aroma is pretty hoppy with a nice dose of pale malt. Flavor is pretty straight forward and it tastes pretty bold for a 5.5% beer. There’s a nice honey and bread thing going on also. There’s really nothing to not lime about this.
