garrison (442), Cin. city, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2003 I had this one last night while dining with my girlfriend, and while it's nothing special, I liked it. Creamy and very typical of the Pilsner style, I pronounce Almaza drinkable (but nothing special).
hombrepalo (539), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 18, 2008 Ran into this a Alhambras Chicago, gave it a try knowing this would most likely be bad. I was right. Aroma of malts and rye. Looks watery dirty and weak, some head. Taste is dirty malts and rye. horrible as it warms up. Yuck! douglas88 (919), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Nov 3, 2008 Bottle from College Liquors in Grand Junction, CO. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. The aroma was nice; lots of grassy and honey notes. The flavor was crisp and clean; smooth grassy and light malt flavors, some honey and sweet biscuit aspects also. A nice lager. wheelz843 (112), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 24, 2008 bottle. has a skunky, citrusy aroma. pours a clear straw yellow with a thin head. has a very smooth taste with a touch of honey. much better than scores would indicate. saxo (2405), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Oct 21, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Average lager. TheKeg (16), Louisiana, USA Oct 20, 2008 Bottled: Poured golden-yellow with a white head that disappeared quickly, a thin/light taste that disappeared from the mouth pretty quickly. A pale lager for sure, not the best, but far from the worst.
