White weak head. Cloudy golden orange colour. Aroma is malty, fruity (apple), citrusy, honey and floral (hawthorn) notes. Flavor is fruity too with green apple and light spicy tones, ending in a fresh fruity finish. Light bodied.

Jul 31, 2009 Dai mi ha fatto un enorme piacere, ottima, fresca, gustosa e complessa però senza molestare; il miele è ben presente e ha sguazzato nell’abbinamento con lardo e miele. Una birra di farro così non è facile trovarla in giro; bevuta da Paola la sera in cui ci siamo andati insieme ad Angelone.

Jul 26, 2009 Very short-lived white head, over hazy light-orange beer. Again, malts to the fore, slightly coloured malts and yeasty aromas. Again yeast & malts obvious. Some faint cheesy hops, and for the first of the Almond ’22 series, I can detect the honey. Pretty aromatic & herbal. Light to medium bodied, slick, "other grains"slickness. Well-balanced, nice multi-grains (malts?) beer.

May 24, 2009 I am disappointed that I carried this 4000 miles. Opaque yellow color. Lager yeast and lager aroma. Light lager flavor, with some yeast. Very little of the flavor, yeast, or spice I expect from a saison. Far too light. If they called it a Kolsch, it wouldn’t be bad at all.

Apr 29, 2009 Bottled.An unclear golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of citrus fruits, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.

Apr 23, 2009 Sampled during Skyview Sourfest II in St Paul, MN and shared by JK. From a 750 ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of some dried fruit, yeast, some corn grits and orange zest. Taste is medium bodied, plenty of carbonation and flavors of fruit, yeast, some corn grits, and toffee. Finish has a mild herbal aftertaste, unlike most other saisons I have tried.
