Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent, small, swirling retention. Earthy, malty aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Grainy, citrusy flavor. Grapefruit pith, toffee and earthy tannins. Finishes crisp, moderately bitter, and then dry.

Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma with lemon and some earth. Lighter tasting than expected, until I saw its an XPA. Crisp and metallic malt with a bit of hops; not too much, but enough to know they are there. Good enough.

22oz. Bottle. Orange/yellow with tiny micro bubble head. Earthy malt nose, light citrus and lemon. Taste is same with a mellow tang and light caramel. Good carbonation. Just an average beer.

22oz bottle. Aggressive pour, not much of a head. Clearish, orange/yellow color. Bits of lace. Smells earthy malty with some nice mellow hops in the background. Taste is crisp malty, somewhat metallic. Hops towards the finish, earthy, mellow. Thin body, ok carbonation for such a thin beer. Average...

650 ml bottle from Bev4less in Santee. Pours a translucent orange gold color with a one finger white head. The aroma was mild with a bit of citrus and sweet malts. The flavor had sweet malts dominating with a touch of cascade hops rounding out the sides. The mouthfeel was smooth and even. The finish was a bit gritty with biter hops stealing the show from the sweet malts. Overall: Another very interesting offering from the folks at Alpine; this one started out too sweet for me but then developed into a respectable biter ale. Recommended.

Trade with fordest - thanks! Almost clear orangey yellow, with a decent foamy white head. Crisp but faint aroma of toast and mellow peppery hops. Flavor is a bit bready at first, then a peppery, hoppy finish. The only problem was a faint cardboard flavor as it warmed. Otherwise, a really nice session APA.

on tap-pours a foamy to patchy off white head and yellow color. Aroma is hoppy-lemon, musty, faint medium malt-caramel. Taste is hops-lemon/earthy/metallic, musty, faint medium malt-caramel. Easy drinking.
