Aroma of floral hops and some bready malt. Flavor is much the same. It also reminded me of Sierra Nevada except not as good. Drinkable, but I like their bigger hoppier beers a lot better. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 26, 2007 Bottle. Light gold, clear, with medium white head. Aroma is yeasty with some bittering hops. Flavor is the same, and quite similar to the flavor of sierra nevada pale ale. Maybe not quite as good, but not bad either. alexanderj (2280), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Bottle purchased from the Carlsbad PP bottle shop; poured a clear gold with alot of visible carbonation. Aroma was heavy on the yeast, must and herbal. Flavor was almost border line bland. Some citrus in the finish. Some lager qualities. Disappointing. badlizard (2385), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2007 Bottle from hapjydeuce. Pour was golden yellow in color with a decent head, but not huge and frothy like some APAs. The aroma was nutty, musty and hearbal, somewhat crisp like a lager. The flavor was nutty spicey hops, slight resinous notes, again crisp and clean finish, lager-like. The mouthfeel was light, refreshing, not an over the top APA, but one I’d be proud to keep the fridge full of in the summer! Thanks, Justin. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 11, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Nice 1 finger foamy head with varying sized bubbles. Amber color . A pale ale, but I would call it an amber ale or IPA. Probably one of the best pale ales. blankboy (3251), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2007 My bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry and biegaman -- courtesy of fordest. Pours a clear orange with some gold hues and a small diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel malt, peaches, citrus, grain and hops. Flavour has a good amount hops for an APA backed by caramel malt and a decent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, nothing outstanding here but it’s decent and easy to drink.
