Commercial Description:
Our namesake ale represents everything a good, well balanced pale ale should be: malty but not to sweet, refreshing but not too bitter, full-bodied but not too heavy, lively but not over carbonated. A clean, everyday beer that leaves your palate begging for more. 1.054 OG 32 IBU 5.5%ABV

Bottle purchased at Windmill Farms in San Diego. Pours a extremely light straw color with a large pillowy head. Nice hoppy taste without any overwhelming bitterness. There is a nice hoppy aftertaste as well. I’m usually not a big fan of APAs but this is solid and very drinkable.

On draft at Uber Tavern in Seattle. Poured amber color with a medium-sized white head. Flavor is balanced between hops and malts. Can taste floral hops that are balanced out with a caramel malty taste. Pretty smooth beer which makes it easy to consume.

Sampled at the brewpub. Relatively generic APA with carmel malts etc. The saving grace is a solid citrus hop kick. A good brew to knock back a few with.

Easy-drinking sessionable APA. Light hop bitterness with a light citrusy flavor. Moderate caramel malt sweetness.

On draught at brewery. Very good session pale ale. Very dry and hoppy. Hop bitterness is not too strong though hop flavor is definately the star. I enjoy dry pale ales and this one is dry.

22oz bottle @ windy city liquor in El Cajon. Pours a clear, deep golden color with a light off white head. Aroma mostly of malt and hopps. A very nice and smooth pale ale.

What a nice beer. Completely flying under beer geek USA’s radar, this beer is a really great example of an America pale ale. It’s got just the right combo of maltyness and hoppyness to be near perfect in balance. Excellent condition gives this a beautiful color and head. This baby is worth every penny if/when you find it.

Tap at brewery in Alpine, CA: Golden, nose of light fruity hops. The flavor is rich and sweet. A light balanced hop and malt tango. Decent.
