| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 12, 2007 had this on tap at liars club in a nitro version and was hand pulled. poured pale golden with 1 inch creamy white head. this had little hop particles floated. aroma was citrus and earthy with strange sweetness. taste was very hoppy still had a lot of creamy sweetness. i think the nitro threw it off and would have been much better with co2. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This Imperial IPA pours a light to medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruity and earthy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are citrusy, grapefruity and piney. Lots of bittering hops. Orange and citrus highlights throughout. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Medium bitterness IPA with a lot of fruit flavors. Nice beer, hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
