Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Big citrus and piney hop flavor and aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with grapefruit mixed in. Moderately bitter hoppy finish.

Clear light copper color with a white head. Aroma is tons of pine, citrus and a bit of must. Grassy flavor is hop forward and bitter. Big pine notes.

Had it at The Liars Club on cask. Poured rich and creamy with hop particles floating in the beer. An earthy citrus taste. Different. I agree with smhncabot about this one.

had this on tap at liars club in a nitro version and was hand pulled. poured pale golden with 1 inch creamy white head. this had little hop particles floated. aroma was citrus and earthy with strange sweetness. taste was very hoppy still had a lot of creamy sweetness. i think the nitro threw it off and would have been much better with co2.

Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This Imperial IPA pours a light to medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is grapefruity and earthy. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are citrusy, grapefruity and piney. Lots of bittering hops. Orange and citrus highlights throughout. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Medium bitterness IPA with a lot of fruit flavors. Nice beer, hides the alcohol well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap @ Toronado. Pours with an orange color. Aromas of fruit and hops. Flavors not too sweet but rather hoppy with fruits and the typical flowery hops notes. Finish is bitter with some grapefruit. Very good.

On tap @ Liars Club. Awesome looking golden amber color. Smell is piney hops. Incredibly fresh Aroma. Super nice hoppy flavor, that’s really well balanced. Another winner from Alpine. Hopefully this will be available regularly.
