The aroma has notes of sweet malt, roasted malt, alcohol, and wood, as well as a light note of bourbon. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt, wood, soy sauce, and chocolate, as well as light notes of bourbon, leading to a dry and bitter finish. But the body is thin. Creamy aroma of roasted malt. The mouthfeel is at the same time dry and smooth, with roasted malts and coffee flavor, a bit creamy; the bitterness is balanced for this beer, and the final is not too aggressive, there is also a light sourness from the roasted malt. Drinkable but not impressive.
