SuzyGreenberg (1318), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 4, 2009 750 ml bottle - pours clear, red with thin white head; zing on the nose with fruit and cherries; kind of juice-like; soft, light texture; not that interesting, but some nice sweetness and mild tart from the cherries tokyogoat (505), San Diego, California, USA Sep 2, 2009 Stone Sour Fest 2009
Poured a hazy amber.
Nose was earthy, oak, noble hops, and funk.
Taste was light on cherry, not too tart, mild funk, some oak, overall slightly bland. SpringsLicker (2041), Tennessee, USA Aug 14, 2009 Clear reddish amber with a fleeting, thin white head.
Sour tart aroma.
The flavor is dry, sour and tart with very little sweetness. The tartness lingers into the finish.
Light, dry and tart sum it all up. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Aug 10, 2009 Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wooden notes along with some brett and fruits. Flavour is brett, some spices, sweet fruits, sour wood and some tart cherry notes. Interesting and very well done lambic-clone. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Aug 3, 2009 (Bottled @ChrisO’s)
A bit hazy orange color, no head. Sour, peachy fruity aroma. Sour, fruity (peach, apricot), some hints of spiceyness or alcohol. Quite good imitation of lambic. Aftertaste should be more intensive.
