Jun 28, 2008 750 ml bottle shared with toncatcher. Lots of sour cherry on the aromas. Gueze like flavors with more cherry and just plain old funk. Very tasty sour from a great brewery.

Jun 26, 2008 Thanks to BDR. Amber pour with a white head. Aroma of sour cherry and possible grape. Oak in the flavor along with tart cherry and some other light fruit.

Jun 25, 2008 Thanks to Blake for opening this! Poured medium-deep peachy-amber with a short cap of pink-tinted head. The aroma was dusty with sweet and tart cherries paired with vinegar, oak, and spicy cedar accents.. the deeper fruity base grew on me. Vinous notes joined drier, semi-tart cherries in the flavor department with heavier cherry meat and red wine on the back.. not a whole lot of impression from the wood.. dry, lightly tart finish. Medium-bodied and drier around the edges.. the palate felt a bit reserved and could have used more tartness and oomph. Overall quite tasty and I applaud the effort.

Jun 25, 2008 Pours to a clear pale watermelon fruit colored body with a thin white head. The aroma has a muddled cinnamon and tart cherry with subtle oak. The flavor has a strong cherry and subtle oak. Winey characteristics. Grape leaves. Very complex. But the beer overall is kind of a letdown at this price point. It’s really good, but extremely expensive. Tart medium light body. Not as sour as I’d hope. Mouthwatering. Lingering.

Jun 24, 2008 Bottle via The_Epeeist, thanks Chris! Pours a light ruby color with a thin off white head. Aroma is oak, cherries, sour apple. Flavor is oaky, tart cherries, vanilla, apple. Palate is meidum bodied, medium carbonation, finished tart. Pretty decent stuff.

Jun 24, 2008 RB Bachelor Pub Crawl. Huge thanks to BDR for sharing. Copper color with no head. Lots of sour, oak and sugar in the aroma. The sourness is very ’punchy’ up front. Plenty of tartness backing it up. Oak, vanilla, apple and cherries.

Jun 21, 2008 Thanks to Blake for this Sour. Pours a pretty poor, quickly disappearing head. Light fizzy watermelon colour. Disappointing on that note. The aroma is quite nice however. Nice bits of funk, horse-blanket, etc. Not very powerful however, but still a nice subtle approach. Taste is light in all aspects. Not enough funk.

Jun 17, 2008 Another nice beer from goldtwins. Thanks Larry. Pour is orangish golden, off white head. Aroma of sour cherries. Tart cherry flavor with lively carbonation. Decent bodied and smooth.
