| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Courtesy The Cheeseman. Pours a crystal clear blush color, with a small off white head. Smells of sweet fruits, a lot of cherry and strawberry flavors galore. A bit artificial though. Theflavor had some big carbonation with penetrating cherry fruit flavors, which gave it a cherry soda-like quality. It was a little acidic, but wouldnt call it a complete sour brew. Overall barely decent, and certainly not worth the hefty price tag that comes along with it. mcbackus (751), Merritt Island, Florida, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Tasting courtesy of cheeseman...Poured a hazy pink similar to a zinfandel w/ a fizzy white head. Had a very sour, vinous fruit, and cheery nose packed with lots of wine like smells (wood, alcohol, florals). Flavor was sour cherries, oak/vanilla, and a little vinous fruit as well. The palate was fizzy and tart with a super dry finish. I really enjoyed this brew and would seek it out... TheEpeeist (1469), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is sour cherry with a hint of apple. Mild sparkling carb with a juicy body. Taste is cherry and yoghurt with oaky drying. Not too sour, some funk. Simple, tasty, well-done. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 Reddish colored, small fizzy head that rapidly diminishes. Rich cherry aroma, some barnyard action, tart, acidic, vanilla. Medium bodied, nice and acidic with a light sweet finish. Different from the Belgian lambics, but tasty in its own way. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | May 29, 2008 Bottle from myself. Pours pinkish and kind of light brown, very thin, crisp white head, and no lace. Smells of tart cherry and more than that but I can’t put my finger on it. Sour and vinegar I guess. Tastes of sour cherries, very, very tart. A little bit of hay. Touch of wood and barrel character.Gets more sour as it warms up. Much more sour than Briscoe. I really liked this beer. Thin, tart body, good carbonation. Oakes (8101), gone rambling, Cambodia

Beautiful rose color-filtered. Sweet. Nose of sourness, funk, cherries, tartness. taste is very puckerishness, a bit sticky, nice cherry flavors, sour and tartness all the way through. Very well done and very drinkable. I need one of these for my cellar.
