Commercial Description:
A Belgian Lambic aged in red wine barrels. Generous amounts of the tart montmorency cherry were added after 12 months of aging. Sour from lactic and acetic acids produced from special wild yeasts. A delicious tart, sour treat.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of pepsican. Pours a clear orange with a small, off-white head. Tart, fruity nose with notes of sweaty horse blanket. Medium body, fresh, tart Brett accents, a whiff of raspberries and horse blanket. Has a subtle, tart finish. 010509

From bottle, Papsoes blindtasting #23. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a small white head. Dry brett-ish and mild barnyard aroma, mild orangy and citrusy too. Dense acetone and dry sour flavoured. Citric and acidic flavoured. Distinct acetone burn.

Light unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is citrus sour, barnyard, lambic, grape, peach, lacto and brett. Flavor is light heavy sweet, moderate acidic and sour with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090501]

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wooden notes along with some brett and fruits. Flavour is brett, some spices, sweet fruits, sour wood and some tart cherry notes. Interesting and very well done lambic-clone.

Bottle #23 at Papsø’s blindtasting. Clear amber coloured with a medium sized white head, Light acidic aroma of wood and berries with notes of brett and vanilla. Light acidic flavour of brett and wood with notes of berries. Tart finish.

(BCTC, 750ml bottle, thanks ?) Small white head atop lightly hazed orange-red body. Aroma is medium sweet, tart cherry, Brett, some funk, light duskiness. Taste is medium sweet, cherry, some Brett, light wood. Some sourness but more tartness. Soft light-medium body, some acidity.
