RBSG at Obrien’s. I took Christians advice and tried this out, good thing, it was a really nice beer. Well balanced, very floral hops that give a pine and apricot note. Crisp palate with lingering spicy hop note into the finish.

Growler at RBSG; Nose of flowery hops and a note of caramel; clear gold with a huge yellowish head; flavor was hop bitterness with notes of ivy and pine! Finish is bitter.

On tap at O’Brien’s. Poured clear bright golden with a well-retained cap of white head. The aroma picked up juicy pineapple and toffee with a touch of floral spice.. the malt base was secondary and allowed the hops to shine. Holy juicy pineapple and starfruit in the flavor department!!.. touches of pine bitterness as well.. long finish with the juicy fruits transitioning to bitterness right at the end. Medium-bodied and engaging with just enough carbonation. Excellent brew!

From tap at OBrians. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Light fruity hops aroma with light sweetness. Medium dry and light peach fruity flavour. Light sweet caramel malt base coming through later before the finish. Finish is once again light dry and lingering fruity hops.

Sampled at O’Briens - RBSG ’08. Clear, light copper/dark gold with a white head. Intense, biting floral fruity hop nose with some cattiness (which I actually dig). Very pale malt base with just a tinge of light toastiness in the background. Very floral, piney, citrusy/grapefruity, catty hop flavor. Not overly bitter. Medium/light bodied (very drinkable), well-attenuated with moderate carbonation. I could drink 100 pints of this stuff. In one sitting.

Pours clear, with a medium, pearly white head. Smells of citric hops, lots of sweet grapefruit, and light malt presence. The flavor is lightly hoppy, and bitter, with a good amount of that citrus blend keeping the balance. Really smooth and easy drinking IPA, went down too easy. Very sessionable, could drink alot of this during the day. Very solid brew.

On draught at O’Brien’s in San Diego. This brew pours a clear orange-yellow color with a thin and fluffy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit and hops. Medium-bodied with piney hops and citrus along with an underlying malty sweetness. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Solid all around.
