Fresh bomber. Pours a clear, dark, golden-amber colored body with a moderate, frothy, cream colored head. Sticky, clumpy swaths of lacing coat the glass well. The nose booms with fresh, juicy hop character, showing notes of pineapple, tangerine, and grapefruit. Citrus blossoms, fresh green grass, and just a drop of pine resin complete the complex and mouth watering hop profile, while a malt base of lightly toasted toffee and honey provide the sweet counterpoint. Flavors are sharp and hoppy as well, showing a bevy of tropical and citrus fruits, including pineapple, papaya, mango, and tangelo. Drying resin lends further bitterness, while honey kissed toffee again offers balance. The palate is substantial, smooth, and creamy, finishing on the drier side, finely carbonated throughout. It’s a damn fine, west coast style IPA through and through, with tropical flavors that push it towards elite level status. Awesome beer. Right up there with Pliny and Sculpin if you ask me.

Solid light tan colored head, excellent retention as it just sits there, solidly, not makin a move, gobs of sticky lace hangin along for the ride. Lightly hazy copper gold color. Fat ass nose of citrus, oranges, honey suckle, melons. Body is almost medium, light resinous notes, coating, juicey. Well hopped flavors grapefruit, light pine and citrus with a gentle welcomed metallic note, malts are faint, lightly toasty, pale. Not a big bitterness like i would of liked but good none the less. Nicely fruity and lasting. A really enjoyable IPA. Nicely done! Cheers to NYbeer for several bombers of this quaffable brew.

Floral and citrus aroma. Pours clear golden with a perfect head. This is a perfect IPA for every day. 7% ABV is strong but not too much to handle.

Where is the love for this beer?!?!!?! Good God. This is it right here ... the PERFECT sessionable IPA. The flavor is off the chart unique. Tropical little bastards dance all over this drinkable, yet assertive hoppy goodness. I would turn to this at all times. Alpine, please keep bottling this.

Bomber thanks to Smokespot23. Orange in color with a small white head. Aroma is lightly frutiy and sharp grapefruit. Flavor starts grapefruit bitter with a light malt back and finishes long and dry citrus rind bitter. Light bodied, but with too much carbonation.

Bottle from Dasilky. Muchas gracias.
In celebration of my cat’s birthday, I cracked open this brew with a nose that’s not of this style, a hodgepodge of melon and pumpkin, with earthy tones in the background. The taste of destiny within this Daewoo Lanos was a very pumpkin-pulp-esque flavor, with a touch of earthy grapefruit. It’s like when that Blue Oyster Cult met the Afghan Kush and supersized everything. Mouthfeel is an onslaught of heat-seeking missiles... and bloodhounds... and foxes... and barracudas... that settle nicely on the tongue, just tryin’ to get a scholarship. Good beer; like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol’ pile of flapjacks... yeah.

Got to try a bottle of this this past weekend. Colour... apricot-orange with no head. Nose... piney hops with a hint of citrus zest. Palate... rather thin bodied, somewhat grain-like, hops are there but not prominent and the finish is of medium length.

Bomber from South Bay Drug. Pours light orange with a creamy off-white head. Lots of grapefruit aroma. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. It’s really quite hoppy. Floral, citrus and pine. Caramel is quite overcome. Finishes fresh and bitter. Quite flavorful.
