Bomber from South Bay Drug. Pours light orange with a creamy off-white head. Lots of grapefruit aroma. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. It’s really quite hoppy. Floral, citrus and pine. Caramel is quite overcome. Finishes fresh and bitter. Quite flavorful.

Bomber shared by robert at SL, I think it came from sloth, so thanks bert.... Anyway....it was chilled a little to long but still looked good. Light orange almost yellow color, decent head. Solid aroma of fresh hops.... little pine and citrus.. Taste was the same. Nice piney and citrus note.... a little floral and perfume as well. Medium body a little on the lighter side which is fine by me. Overall a good IPA....wish I had my own bottle to rate. Thanks bert and roberto!

Sample at GABF 2009. Pours a generall clear light amber color with thin head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, grapefruit, honey, floral hops. Flavor is about the same with additional notes of caramel and more stronger citrus. Medium body with a floral hop finish.

Sampled from 22-oz bomber during Darkness Day 2009 in Brooklyn Center, MN. Pours a clear light copper amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of roasted golden grain malt, plenty of citrus and piney hops, and a touch of green pepper. Taste is medium bodied, sharp bitterness with flavors of citrus, pine, grapefruit and some caramel malt. Finish remains bitter with grapefruit and a hint of caramel malt.

22oz bomber, FRESH from south bay. pours a clear, light copper, with a thin, bubbly, white head and solid lacing. aroma is wonderful with, big, juicy, fruity hop notes of grapefruit, orange, pineapple syrup, and canned peaches with sprucy pine and a touch of grass. flavor is great as well with mildy spicy pine esters taking a front seat to the fruity hop notes of tangerine, lemon peel, and grapefruit backed by slightly sweet, toasted, light malts with a lingering, bitter, citrus finish. palate is smooth, bright, and medium bodied with great drinkability. overall, another well done west coast IPA.

Sample at Darkness Day. Pour is golden and no head. Body is nice and clear. Aroma is great: clean citrus hops, fruity hops. Flavor is bitter but has a nice malt/sweet background. Palate clean, smooth, crisp. Overall, well put together and tasty.

Thanks to Jack for giving me a bottle. Poured an orange brown with a nice white head. Aroma was citrus, sharp pine. Taste was much the same, with big dry piney hops taking over, still nice lemon and orange, full bodied and powerful. Great beer, really refreshing and well put together.
