Draft. A dark golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, hops, grass, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grass - giving it a feeling of chewing on fresh hops. Nice body.

From tap at OBrians. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Light fruity hops aroma with light sweetness. Medium dry and light peach fruity flavour. Light sweet caramel malt base coming through later before the finish. Finish is once again light dry and lingering fruity hops.

Draught at O’Brien’s, San Diego. Clear deep golden, near no head. Strong lycheelike hop aroma. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel. Lycheelike hops dominate completely. The finish is really biotter and near soapy. The relative swetness in combination with a hard mouthfeel detracts a little bit from the wonderful hop profile.

Words: O’Brien’s

clear dark gold, frothy white head, thick lace, sweet crystal malt aroma with fruity citrus hops, very creamy body, rich and fruity flavor, lots of orange, sweetness is balance by the citrus, light bitterness is the finish, all about the sweet fruity hops

Growler acquired in trade with WeeHeavySD (thannks!). Poured a medium to deeper golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas citrus, floral, pine, oranges, and just all around hoppy. Aromas of Citrus, tangerines, pine (more than the aromas), and some caramel. Medium sweet and medium bitter balance.

on tap-pours a patchy off white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet hops-citrus-lemon/pineapple (Amarillo and Simcoe per write up). Taste is sweet hops-citrus-lemon/pineapple-bitter, secondary medium malt. Dry finish. OK carbonation.

Growler… RBSG’08… Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. Earthy pine and grapefruit aroma. Medium-bodied with ticklish carbonation. Pleasant, numbing hop bitterness… not overbearing. Low sweetness with the tiniest pinch of salt. Finishes moderately bitter, and then dry.
