Re rated on may 24th on tap at downtown johnny browns. Much better on tap than on cask in my opinion. Great lacing and tons of citrus and oak on the nose. Flavor was nice and oaky with some hop bitterness. On hand pump @ Toronado S.D. Pours a hazy burnt orange color with a fluffy 2 finger off white head, not much lacing. Nose was very fruity with citrus, pine and sweet malt. Very low bitterness and very smooth, very balanced. Brew barley tastes like a Double, can taste about 7% worth of booze. Not really what I was expecting, will try again on draft instead of cask next time.

Growler because tpd975 is the man. Pours yellow gold with a white head. Nose is all manner of hops- apricot, peach, pine, and tart citrus. Flavor is apricot, loquat, sugar, malt, caramel, and peach. I love it when Double IPA’s are so hoppy that they take on flavor like apricot and peach. Lots of similarities to PTY. Medium to full-bodied and lingering piney apricot finish. Excellent beer.

Growler kindly shared by Beerlando. Extraordinary. Pour gold, white head, nice lacing. Huge mango and pine hops all over the place. West Coast all the way. Nose is huge, alcohol is superbly hidden. This is insanely drinkable. I could have killed a growler of this myself. The malt balance is fantastic, because it carries the immense hoppiness so unobtrusively. Full, lush mouthfeel. Nice mildly drying, pine-hop finish. Well-done!

growler courtesy of tpd975. Thanks Greg for this ultimate hop bag. Never thought I would enjoy a DIPA that much. Pours golden, white head. Aroma, like opening a bag of fresh grass/pine, loaded with amazing scent and hops. Taste, lots of grass, pine hops, some spices, light apricot/peach fruit notes, remains highly smooth on the palate. This is one fine brewed beer.

Growler courtesy of tpd975. Pours a real hazy yellow, thick white head. Smells like a citrus pine forest. Yay Hops! Nose reminds me of pliny. Tastes citrusy, sweet caramel malts. Oily, full mouthfeel. A real treat!

Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of pine, citrus, grapefruit, honey, caramel, light notes of candy sugar, pineapple, and tropical fruits. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of pine, grass, citrus, grapefruit, honey, candy sweetness, dried apricots. Generally medium body with a pleasing hoppy finish.

nuked rating retry #2. Gold pour with a nice sized head. Aroma is heavy citrus and resin hops. Flavor had quite a bit of exotic island fruit. Not quite as bone dry as expected, but very bitter to pack it up. Very delicious.
