BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jul 1, 2008 This was delicious, absolutely no way around it. One of the best DIPAs I have ever tried. Pours a hazy orange coloring, with that beautiful unfiltered look, and just reeks ( In a wonderful way) of pure hop juice. Has that skunky resin nose, with lots of citrus fruits running the gamut. Nice acidity and bitterness does a number on your palate, almost stings a bit, but the alcohol is really well masked. Loads of fruit and an unbalanced malt background, but at this point you are not thinking about that and enjoying the hop overload.

Pours a nice orange with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malt, pine and malt. Flavor is oily resinous hops, malt, pine with a nice bitter finish. Seemed a little off to me, but I did drink this right after I had a hop suey so anything I had after that may have had higher than normal expectations. Decent IPA, but I had higher expectations for this one. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2008 8-28-08 growler shared by hopsleeroy - you rock!
Bright glowing orange with a thin white head. Smell is floral, minty, basil, and fruity. Nice mouthfeel and body. Great overall flavor that is perfectly hopped and that has this cold minty aspect and great fruity hop finish. Very refreshing and very flavorful and enjoyable. lb4lb (1499), Austin, Texas, USA Sep 5, 2008 Growler shared by hopsleeroy. Thanks a ton dude!
Pours a clear orang color with a light white head. SMell is sweet and fruity, juicy hops and very herbacious with some basil and mint. Very fresh smelling and quite nice and unique. Taste is hoppy, fruity and very mild bitterness, but with huge hoppy unique flavors of mint and basil like hops. Incredibly easy to drink, and no sign of the 10.5% ABV at all. One of the better beers I’ve ever had. Awesome. thickfreakness (124), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 29, 2008 Growler thanks to hopsleeroy on BA. Thanks Lee! Pours clearish golden with a white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Smell is huge perfume-like hop aroma like fresh hop cones, a slight herbaceous smell and some slight vanilla/oak. Huge, sweet hoppy flavor. Fresh hops and pine cones all over the flavor. Vanilla and dry oakiness as well. So easy to drink this one, I could hardly tell it was 11%. Basically it was like squeezing juice right out of the hops into my mouth. argo0 (6263), Washington DC, USA Aug 19, 2008 (growler, thanks kmweaver) Small white head atop clear golden body. Aroma is moderately sweet, mango, some passion fruit, pineapple, orange. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, mango, light caramel. Sticky medium-full body.
