Poured a medium brownish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of wood, light pumpkin, very light spices, vanilla, and lightly vinous. Tastes of the same with some vanilla. The spices and pumpkins were not overpowering. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Bottle shared by Eugene. Great sour aroma has a bit of pumpkin, chocolate notes. A spicy sour flavor. Quite kickin’. Body is a little thin, and overall could use a touch more pumpkin and spice, but this is really interesting stuff. notalush (2668), Denver, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2008 From a tasting at JoeMcPhee’s apartment: Pours deep orange. Has a rich aroma. Complex and tart-ish notes with brett qualities; leather, apple, calabaza, nutmeg and a very mild buttery malt hint. Light tartness in the flavor with evident brett character of cherry pit. The spices are mild and there’s only a slight pumpkin hint. Pretty tasty overall. yobdoog (1456), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2008 So it is a sour beer. Definitely a bit sour. Not expecting this at first. Spices in a sour beer is a first for me. Pretty good. Sweet, sour. Some fruits like plum must aid in the slight funk. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Amber coloured beer. Lightly sour aroma, some soft spiciness and a softly vineous character over a light malt base. Softly fruity with a light cherry tartness. Fruity and lightly sour on the back. I like this quite a bit. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 23, 2008 draft at O’Brien’s - Pours dark amber with a thin head. It smells of malt and sour fruit. The flavor is really sour with some malty tones and to me, not much wild yeast funk in there. I don’t know what it is, but I’m really not a big fan of this one. I didn’t particularly care for the sourness with this mix of flavors.
