| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drug. Rich red color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is floral hop and? Rather thin body with mild carbonation. Flavor is almost flavored water - but it is really better than that. It’s just all rather mild. Mild caramel, mild hop. It goes down readily. It finishes clean and balanced. It just lacks character. Good drink, but not a great drink. The color is great though. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 19, 2008 I got a lot of flowery and soapy flavors, probably from the hops. I was hopping to get more caramelly flavors and some roastiness. Its spiced up and has tu much hops for the style. Its a bit watery too. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Light mahogany pour with a nice initial one finger head, turns thin after two minutes. Nose is spiced bread, dried apricots, and a touch of sour. Mouthfeel is bubbly and medium bodied. Flavor is malt, cinnamon. Almost feels like this beer could be infected, but not quite. Some hops on the finish. Eh. padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Deep amber pour. An aroma of old socks. Flavor of old wet paper and malt with hints of a bitter on the finish. Foamy beer that is thin as well. Smells worse than it tastes the sour after taste that grows is a downer as well. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

The aroma is sweet caramel, cabbage, and a little bit of buttered toast. The flavor is toasty with a little bit of sugar and raw grain, a touch of an acidic edge. Very mild pine note in finish. Meh. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a dark maroon, with a medium, foamy, light beige head. Smells of sweet malt, some dark sweet fruits, yeast, and a touch of cinnamon. The flavor was mild overall, big malt and cinnamon flavors as you’d expect in an irish ale. Little caramel in there too. Not an abundance of complexity here, but decent drinking for what it is.
