Sep 11, 2006 22 oz. bottle from ABC - Pours a clear deep red color with a nice size off white head. Nice red edges show in the light. Light lacing is left as the head settles to a film. Has a light grassy hop aroma. Light caramel malt flavor. Light to medium body. Has a very light dry, toasty finish. Nothing fancy, worth a try.

Aug 28, 2006 From 22oz Bottle. Pours a clean cherrywood color with a nice one-finger layer of well sustaining light beige head. Aroma of biscuits, rye seed bread, and a gentle brush of grassy euro-hops. Some very light chocolate cherry fudge seems to linger in there as well. Medium-light, gently carbonated mouthfeel. A wave of mildly sweet caramelly malts wash across my tongue. A bit of leather and toasted oak acorns remind me of the fall. Clean. Some of the sweetness fades away at the finish to reveal some subtle dry, grassy hop flavors. Well balanced, well crafted beer overall - great example of the style!
