Commercial Description:
Our most versatile beer. Good to drink as well as cook with. Light enough to quench a thirst and complex enough to accompany fine dining. Carmel malty sweet fades to a chocolate roasty finish and dry from a touch of rye. 1.057 OG 13 IBU 6%ABV

On draft at O’Briens. Arrived a nice clear, dark red mahogany color with little to no head. Aroma of rich caramel malts, sweet tea, light floral hops and summer fruit. Flavor of caramel malts, molasses, bitter herbs, a bit of spice and pepper in the finish. Medium body, crisp carbonation. Nice drinking, flavorful ale.

Sampled at the brewery. Thin and watery with generic malty presence and almost unnoticable hops. Drinkable, but I’ve had much better.

Rather bland and boring example of an Irish red ale. Drinkable but nothing noteworthy. Rather thin-bodied and watery as well. Some sweet malt bottom but lacking any bittering highlights.

22 Oz Bottle: Decent but unremarkable red beer. Nice red color. Pretty malty flavor, without much hops. I’d drink it again, but Im not about to go out of my way to find it.

An easy drinking red. Very flavorful and a treat to imbibe. I’ve had it draft and in bottles and they both tasted great with no discernable difference. One of my go-to ales.

On draught at brewery. Probably my favorite of the brewering offering I have tried, though pure hoppiness is a very close second. Copper colored with a light off white head. Flavor is very complex for an Irish Red. It has a nutty caramel flavor along with a very slight hint of chocolate backed by a dry maltiness. Hop are well represented though not over done.

Poured a mostly clear copper color with medium build off white head. Nose of Caramel and some citrus. The same goes for the flavor. Very nice smooth mouth feel.
