The aroma is acidic and dominated by caramel - and so is the flavor. It lacks the berry notes I expect from an Irish Red. Papsoe (14997), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 27, 2009 On tap. Clear amber golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel notes, but again distinct moldy accents. No bitterness. I wonder if Pizza Port Solana has a problem with keeping their tap lines clean - this was the third mildewy beer in the same day. 080709 yespr (12184), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Light roasted and caramelish malt aroma. Sweet caramelish and light toasted malt flavoured. Good light bitterness to this. Ends with a light creamy impression and a lasting light dry hoppy and light malty mix. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Poured a medium and clear brownish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel and fruits. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thinner body. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 27, 2004 Bottle courtesy of DarkElf: Pours a clear amber brown with a thick frothy bone-colored head that leaves a fine lacing behind. Aroma is full of sweet, semi-toasted, caramel malts. Starts full and sweet with a hint of toasty malt and a touch of some lagerish off-flavors. Otherwise it’s quite well-balanced and enjoyable with lots of malt. A very drinkable red ale. Thanks Stephen! hopscotch (5490), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Mostly clear Longhorn orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Perfumey, fruity nose tenders wafts of honey, biscuit and toffee. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Malty-sweet flavor, but not cloying... caramel and sweet, golden raisins. Caramelly finish. Thanks go out to WeeHeavySD!
