Commercial Description:
Another single IPA with a lighter slant. A slightly elevated malt profile and a higher mash temp leaves more sweetness to balance the hop bitterness against. Several different popular hop varieties are used while boiling and dry-hopping. 1.059 OG 60IBU 6%ABV

Could not ask for a better IPA for my birthday! Pours clear amber with lots of frothy head. Very creamy on the palate. Flavor is dank, spicy and piney hops with a very dry malt profile. The hops carry in your mouth for quite some time, giving it a slightly bitter yet spicy finish.

On tap at O’Briens in San Dieo. I really can’t believe it took me this long to get around to trying this! This is a really awesome IPA. Pours dark gold with a hazy appearance, and a sticky and creamy white head and lasting lace. Sappy grapefruit aroma with tones of hay, dead grass, orange citrus and caramel. Bomb-ass flavor that is overflowing with earthy, resiny hops goodness. Some apricot and mango with more caramel hidden underneath the Simcoe-like hops bang. Finishes with long-lasting and crisp bitterness. Pretty much a perfect palate in my book. Yes sir!

On tap at O’Brien’s Pub 14th Anniversary Barrel-Aged beer night 1/15. A- Pours a clear strong orange hue, thin layer of white head sustains, creamy lacing on the glass S- Pure hops up front, mostly grassy with a touch of pine, crisp and fresh with a touch of malt in the background T- Initial taste is delicious, grassy hops with a very ’green’ and fresh taste, citrus and pine peek thought with a touch of chalk, delicious! M- Medium-bodied, oily texture coats the tongue, mild carbonation D- My second experience with this absolutely stellar single IPA, i love the hop profile and balance, very drinkable with low alcohol presence, I have heard this is a Blind Pig clone, here’s to hoping this proliferates!

Growler from Alpine - Pours a clear amber color with a medium size off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is a nice mix of floral and herbal hops. Flavor is mostly hops with a bit of toasted malt sweetness to back it. Very smooth on the palate. Medium body. An excellent IPA.

Draft at obriens on russian river night. Pours a light copper color with a fluffy off white head, great lacing left on the glass. Tons of citrus and piny hops on the nose, flavor was bitter and hoppy. Finish was long and very sticky......great stuff!

Tap at Stone. Orange gold with a fluffy head and great lacing. An amazing aroma of fresh grapefruit rinds with softer orange notes as well. A touch of caramel malt makes the aroma on this one incredibly fruity. Awesome bitterness with soft caramel malt backbone. Floral and grapefruit bitterness coats the mouth and lingers. The bitterness is not over the top however. This is a nice IPA.

Tasted at Brewery. Quite good. Golden color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, creamy palate, citrus and pine taste with some really nice vanilla notes. Yummy.
